Hi there! 2022-2023 was my first year teaching Art at Dutton. I had so much fun with our student artists! Prior to teaching at Dutton, I spent 7 years teaching Art in Traverse City. My husband and I moved our family to the GR area last July in pursuit of more opportunities for our five children. My kids range in age from 21 down to 11and we also have 2 goldendoodles, a cat, a cockatiel, and 4 chickens. We are a loud and crazy crew! In my spare time I enjoy reading, cooking, painting, drawing, knitting, writing, and cheering for my kids at their various activities. I also love uninterrupted moments in my hammock to just relax and reflect on all that I am thankful for. My new Dutton family is now included on that list.
