Community Events Flyer Submission
- The district accepts submissions from non-profit and local youth organizations of non-curricular flyers that have a social, recreational, or educational value for students (Refer to Board Policies - 9700, 5722, 9700.01).
- Flyers are posted on the district’s Community Events webpage.
- Non-profits must use our Google Form to submit flyers.
- All submissions are reviewed before being published and CCS reserves the right to reject unsuitable or inappropriate postings at our sole discretion

Mark your calendars, Caledonia Families! Let’s get together on Thursday, May 9 for a great day of ball, cheering on the Caledonia Varsity Baseball & Softball players! CBSL kiddos are encouraged to wear their jerseys and join us for a great time at CBSL Youth Night! See you there!
Join us at Scotland Yard this Thursday, May 2, for an exciting Youth Night event! Show your support for our Lady Scots as they face off against Hudsonville. Bring your spirit and enthusiasm to cheer them on! Admission is free for all youth who come dressed in their soccer jerseys. The action kicks off with the JV team at 5:25 PM followed by the Varsity game at 7:00 PM. Let’s rally behind our teams and show them what it means to be a part of Cal! Let’s go Cal!
Support local education by participating in our community auction, where all proceeds will benefit the Caledonia Education Foundation (CEF). This exciting event relies on the generosity of our community members who can contribute by donating items for auction. For more details about how you can help and what items are needed, please refer to the flyer below. Join us in making a difference in our community’s educational initiatives!
Camp O'Malley is located in Alto Michigan, about 15-20 minutes south of Grand Rapids. Here, children unplug from their daily routines and immerse themselves in a world of discovery and adventure. Our camp offers a space for children to explore new places, activities, and ideas, fostering friendships, life-long memories, and life-enhancing skills. Check out the flyer for more information.
Join the Caledonia Friends of the Library for their much-awaited Spring Fling used books sale! As a special gesture of appreciation, teachers with a valid ID can enjoy 20 free books. With over 5000 books and media items sorted by genre, there's something for every reader. Karen and Larry Melton were respected members of Caledonia. They gave back to the community in many ways, one of which was donating blood. Karen and Larry brought kindness and joy to others every day. Please join us in honoring their legacy by giving blood at the 2nd annual Karen & Larry Melton Memorial Drive on Tuesday, May 14 from 1:00-6:30 pm. Check out the flyer for more information.

Join presenter Claire Dahl of the Yankee Air Museum to learn the incredible history of the Willow Run B-24 Bomber Plant and the teamwork of the powerful Detroit automotive industry. Claire will share the dramatic and vital roles played by women as they showed the nation that they were willing and able to fill the work force gaps caused by men going into military service. Join us for 5 weeks of racing fun this spring! HKRS offers age-appropriate races for children ages 2 up to 8th grade, which range from a 50 yard dash to a 1 mile race. We also have a Challenger Division, which is an untimed 75 yard dash for children with special needs who may need extra assistance on the course. We pride ourselves on being a fun and inclusive event for the entire family! All abilities and experience levels are welcome. Points are awarded based on how runners place each week. They are added up throughout the 5 week Series and the cumulative top three finishers in each division win a trophy! All runners receive a medal when crossing the finish line on Week 5. Registration includes all 5 races, tech t-shirt, sponsor giveaways and a medal at the final race! Single day registration is $20 and includes a t-shirt (while supplies last). Races will take place on Sundays 4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5 & 5/12 (with a 6/2 rain date if needed). Races start at 4:00 pm and the entire event lasts approximately one hour. We are thrilled to announce the launch of a collaborative initiative between the Caledonia Education Foundation (CEF) and Caledonia Community Schools (CCS) - the Essentials Fund. This fund aims to provide immediate support to our students in times of need, removing barriers to learning by offering timely aid. Recognizing that educators are often at the forefront of identifying and addressing urgent student needs, the Essentials Fund ensures that whether it's food, clothing, school supplies, or other necessities, assistance is readily available. With a simple request form, CCS staff can access resources quickly, maintaining anonymity and accountability throughout the process. We invite you to join us in enriching the lives of our students and families by learning more about the Essentials Fund on our website and getting involved today!
